SOUTHBURY
Southbury blends historic New England charm with rural countryside and suburban neighborhoods in western New Haven County. Covering roughly 39 square miles and home to about 20,000 residents, it protects 15 % of its land as greenbelt and offers hiking, boating and beach access at Southford Falls and Kettletown State Park while maintaining convenient I‑84 access to Manhattan and major airports.
NAUGATUCK
Straddling both sides of the Naugatuck River just south of Waterbury, Naugatuck is Connecticut’s only consolidated borough‑town. Settled in 1701 and once a hub for rubber and naugahyde production, it’s now a bedroom community known for its picturesque town common and commuter‑friendly location.
